What We Mean by Standard Installation
Every home is different. Our advertised prices are based on a straightforward installation, with any property-specific work identified before you accept the quote.
A standard installation assumes:
- A single-storey home within Maxim Energy’s metropolitan Victorian service area
- The battery is installed beside the switchboard
- The existing switchboard is compliant and has sufficient space
- A suitable surface and ground area are already available
- No extended cable run or additional building work is required
Additional work is assessed case by case
Depending on the property, this may include three-phase connection, regional travel, switchboard upgrades, extended cabling, equipment removal, ground preparation, a concrete slab, bollard, fire-rated backing, smoke alarm or extra weather protection.
After you send your property details and photos, your assigned Maxim electrician will confirm whether the home meets the standard-installation conditions. If additional work is required, only the items relevant to your property will be explained and itemised in your quote before you decide whether to proceed.
